Treating Facial Veins
For facial veins around the eyes (darker periorbital reticular veins), spider veins on cheeks, on the nose and inside the nose (Hereditary Haemorrhagic Telangiectasia) and even on the abdomen or the torso, microsclerotherapy is best suited.
Generally, one facial vein treatment is required however occasionally top up procedures may be recommended, after approximately three months. The treatment for facial veins may last many years with a maintenance treatment repeated to optimise results if there is recurrence.
For these veins sclerotherapy is an option particularly if you have exhausted your options with laser treatments elsewhere.

Forehead Veins
Prominent vertical veins on the forehead can cause great distress particularly for women when these veins are more prominent and bulge, looking “masculine” or “angry”. These forehead veins get more prominent when the person smiles, exercises and drinks alcohol.
Temporal Veins
Annoying veins can appear on the side of the forehead, just above the eyes and eyebrows, in the area called the “temple”. It is actually the temporal area and veins in this area tend to run down from the top of the scalp, across the temple vertically and then under the eye.
