Danielle Adey is a highly skilled vascular sonographer with over seven years of experience in vascular ultrasound. She has been part of the Australian Ultrasound Specialists team for the past two years, working closely with Vein Doctors Group.
Originally from the United States, Danielle holds a bachelor’s degree in Vascular Technology from the Oregon Institute of Technology—one of the top accredited medical imaging schools in the U.S. She completed her clinical externship at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of vascular pathologies.
Before relocating to Australia with her husband and two children, Danielle worked in a hospital setting in Idaho for nearly five years. During this time, she trained under senior sonographers and vascular surgeons, developing expertise across standard and advanced vascular studies. Her clinical experience includes venous valvular incompetence, arterial and venous duplex, bypass grafts, renal and mesenteric artery imaging, carotid studies, haemodialysis access/AVF, and AAA/aortic endovascular repair assessments.
Danielle has a particular interest in complex vascular compression studies, including MALS (Median Arcuate Ligament Syndrome), Nutcracker/May-Thurner syndromes, and TOS (Thoracic Outlet Syndrome).
Outside of work, Danielle enjoys time with her family, watching movies, and shopping. Having grown up around horses, she hopes to spend more time riding and exploring the outdoors in Australia.
